Boasting an extensive 17-year background in the post-acute healthcare realm, Keri Culhane bridges the gap between direct patient care and high-level executive leadership. Her journey began as a Registered Nurse, evolving seamlessly into leadership roles within home health and hospice organizations.
Culhane recently served as a post-acute surveyor for 5 years, ensuring operational excellence across organizations nationwide. Furthermore, her commitment to educating others about standards and regulations is evident from her comprehensive role in onboarding and mentoring new surveyors.
Prior to becoming CHAP’s Clinical Nurse Educator, Culhane showcased her operational acumen as the Executive Director for a regional post-acute care agency. Additionally, her time as CHAP’s Director of Accreditation underscored her dedication to maintaining and ensuring the consistent application of regulatory standards, with patient-centered care, safety, and care quality at the forefront.
Armed with an MBA from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Nursing degree from the University of Wyoming, Culhane’s educational background solidifies her stature in the field.
