Jason Vanhoose RN-BSN is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at CHAP, heading strategic growth initiatives and fostering relationships with key industry stakeholders in the homecare and hospice sectors, including national associations and consulting organizations.
Leveraging over 27 years of experience as a registered nurse, Vanhoose infuses a robust clinical perspective into his role at CHAP. Before joining CHAP, he honed his expertise through diverse roles, including stints at another accrediting entity focused on homecare accreditation and spending over 25 years in telemetry units and emergency rooms. In addition, he has a decade of experience at a leading Home Health and Hospice organization, where he escalated from a field nurse to Director of Operations, going through roles such as Clinical Manager.
Throughout his career, Vanhoose has consistently prioritized understanding and addressing his clients’ and patients’ unique needs and priorities, drawing on his profound clinical background to develop practical and effective solutions. Committed to enhancing patient outcomes and shortening recovery times, he advocates for safe, high-quality care.
A community stalwart, Vanhoose has dedicated over 30 years to volunteering as a firefighter and Deputy Chief in his local fire department. Moreover, he is on the West Virginia Board of Registered Nurses, actively contributing to the community, mirroring the “C” in CHAP’s commitment to community service.
