CMS DMEPOS Enrollment Moratorium Has Expired

(8/28/26) The six-month nationwide Medicare enrollment moratorium on certain DMEPOS supplier types has expired, and enrollment applications are once again being accepted.

The moratorium was implemented by CMS in February 2026 as part of ongoing efforts to address fraud, waste, and abuse within the DMEPOS supplier community.
